Programming
Of course, programming is one of my favorite activities. These days, I spend most of my time in front of a screen typing away. I always have at least one project on my mind, and I try to work on my website here and there to keep it clean. With the boundless sea of technologies to work with, I see myself occupied with this hobby for a very long time!

MMA/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
MMA and BJJ are a more recent endeavor of mine. Just over a year ago I tried out the UTD MMA club per my friend's suggestion, and it hooked me. Soon after, I joined the Cobra BJJ club and fell in love with the sport.

Swimming
I have enjoyed swimming since I was taught it at five years old. I started competing in middle school, and in high school, I tried out for the team and made varsity. When I enrolled in TAMS, I put my competitive side to rest, but continued practicing. Swimming has been one of the biggest character-molding aspects of my life, and I still like to hop in for a few laps here and there.

Piano
Piano is another early passion of mine. Since I was seven, I took weekly lessons with my piano teacher, who prepared me for recitals and sparked my interest in classical music. Nowadays I like to visit the practice rooms at my University and try out any classical pieces that interest me. Here's a piece from a recital of mine from 2015: Youtube link.

Chess
My introduction to chess was the school chess club in fifth grade. I went to a few competitions that year, but decided that was a little too much chess at a time for me! I put it down for a while, but due to the quarantine, I picked it up again recently and like to play a quick game almost every day now. My chess.com account is gentlemanghost; you can click here for my profile.
